Three new tracks from teen pop singer Aaron Carter are featured on the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius original motion picture soundtrack, which will be the first release from Jive/Nick Records-the newly created venture between Nickelodeon’s Nick Records and Jive Records-on November 20. The three tracks include “Go Jimmy, Jimmy,” “Leave It Up To Me,” and “A.C.’s Alien Nation.”
Carter revealed that the first music video to be released from the soundtrack will be “Leave It Up To Me.”
“That’s the main song of the whole movie. I’m basically Jimmy Neutron in the song. He’s just kind of letting everybody know, ‘Leave it up to me.’ I mean, if you listen to the words, the song was actually written for that movie and for the soundtrack, so you can definitely tell,” Carter explained.
In addition, Britney Spears contributed a new song, titled “Intimidated,” to the soundtrack. Other highlights include remakes of ’80s classics such as “Parents Just Don’t Understand” (DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince) by Lil’ Romeo, 3LW and Nick Cannon; “He Blinded Me With Science” (Thomas Dolby) by Melissa Lefton; and “Kids In America” (Kim Wilde) by female pop group No Secrets.

The film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius features celebrity voiceovers from Patrick Stewart, Martin Short, Andrea Martin, and others. It tells the simple story of 10-year-old Jimmy and his robot dog Goddard as they battle evil Yokians, rescue Jimmy’s parents, and save the Earth, only to return home in time for dinner. The Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Movies animated feature film opens in theaters nationwide on December 21.
