DJ Bowie Jane-Babes Behind The Beats/Big Brother
This week I have DJ Bowie Jane, I met her through Jess Bowen, and they have a radio show together on Idobi as well called “Babes Behind The Beats” where they interview women in music! Bowie Jane is an artist/DJ and she also recently got on CBS’s Big Brother. She didn’t quite go into detail about it, but this interview is from before she got on the show. She reflects about her life coming from Australia to America and everything else in between as I get to know her better on this weeks episode.

Day Mori-Magician
This week I have friend/magician Day Mori! I met him from just seeing him around LA, and I remember he blew my mind with a magic trick when we were at Bonnie McKee’s house for the 4th of July in 2022. Ever since then it’s been fun to see Day grow up and learn how he got his love for magic, he even performs at the famous Magic Castle, he also does music and I get his story on how he got from point A to B.

Alex Mac-Gimmie Gimmie Disco
This week I have long time friend and DJ, Alex Mac. I met him when he was working for IHeart Radio in Des Monies Iowa, we ended up hanging out and kept in touch, and we even took some adventures together over the years. We catch up and talk about how he got involved with the popular dance night Gimmie Gimmie Disco, and what’s in store for future of Alex Mac. Who knows, some might say that I might be playing the Aug 25/26 2023- 5 year anniversary show on drums with him, but I guess you’ll have to listen to the show to find out.

This week I have punk rocker Ray Carlisle from the band Teenage Bottlerocket, we did a few Warped Tour’s together and I’d hang with him every once in a while and we grew up not too far from each other, just one state over in Wyoming while I was in Utah. I try to figure out the punk scene in Wyoming and how Ray got his start and how he got his band on the map.

Joey LaRocca- The Briggs, The Defiant
This week I have long time friend Joey LaRocca from the band The Briggs, and he started a new band called The Defiant with past members of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Street Dogs, The Offspring, and Smash Mouth, I can’t wait to hear it! We go back about 20 years and he’s seen me play in my bands in all shapes and sizes, we reflect on what it used to be like to book your own tours and how music has drastically changed. We also talk about how I filled in on drums for The Briggs.

Anthony Sonetti- Badflower
This week I have Anthony Sonetti from the band Badflower, all of July 2023 I’m going to be having a different band member on the show and eventually the entire band will come together at the end. I interview each of them on the back of their tour bus, I was out with them acting as a Tour Manager for them filling in. It was a great time and we look back on each of the interviews as I find out their point of views on how the band got together and where all of them started. This week, Anthony tells me how he got involved in music and eventually going into Badflower.

Tony Lovato- Mest
This week I have singer/songwriter from the band Mest, he and I go back over 21 years, I met him for the first time in Texas when I was on a tour in 2002 that an old band of mine had booked themselves, and we met him in the parking lot after we had one of our self booked shows get canceled. We ended up talking and would see each other throughout the years, fast forward time and we became friends and I even got to fill in for Mest at a show in LA. I interview him to see how he started out in Illinois all the way to today.
