Good Charlotte, Kelly Clarkson, Hoobastank and Simple Plan will lend their support to the ever-growing tsunami-relief effort by performing live at the MTV Asia Aid benefit event in Thailand. Alicia Keys will also be featured the event, which is set to take place on February 3 at the IMPACT Arena in Thailand’s capital of Bangkok and benefits UNICEF and other Thailand- and India-based organizations. Hoobastank Yanks Tour Dates


Hoobastank’s lead singer, Doug Robb, has a pretty good reason why he is canceling the remainder of the band’s December tour: pneumonia. The band’s label announced Robb is still ill with bronchial pneumonia Thursday, though the condition is not said to be serious. Robb’s management insists that the singer is on his way to a full recovery, despite a trip to the hospital over the weekend. 'Halo 2' Soundtrack Boasts Incubus, Hoobastank


Music is a major aspect of the highly anticipated Xbox game “Halo 2,” due Nov. 9 at U.S. retail outlets. Beyond Incubus’ exclusive four-movement suite, “The Odyssey,” the game and companion soundtrack album feature a new Breaking Benjamin track, “Blow Me Away,” and Hoobastank’s “Connected.” The bulk of the “Halo 2” soundtrack features new symphonic compositions by Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori.
