Let’s Talk Music – Gia Janashvili

In this week’s episode we meet up with a friend of mine from Tbilisi in Georgia, Gia Janashvili. Gia introduced me to Georgian pop but during my last visit to Georgia he also gave me a taste of Georgian folk music. Gia invited me to a special event celebrating traditional Georgian folk music. If you don’t normally listen to folk music, I can assure you that Georgian folk music is almost as entertaining as today’s Georgian pop.
