Song Premiere: Hear Intervention’s First Song from Their New EP, “Blur”

It’s time for an Intervention… for not listening to the Jackson, Florida’s finest, Intervention. The act has plans to release a new EP this summer, and we’re premiering the first track here today.

If you were at the West Palm Beach Vans Warped Tour show, you saw Intervention dominate the stage. Relive the feeling (or discover it for the first time) by playing “Blur” at ridiculous volumes (don’t worry, we won’t judge.)

“‘Blur’ is a song about having a stutter and the toll it takes on my every day life. This song was a release for me of all the stress that was caused by my speech impediment, and is about finally being able to let it out and continuing on with my passion of music. I wrote this song to remind others to not let anything make you think that you’re not good enough, and to encourage everyone to do what they want to do with their lives.” – Drew Portalatin (vocalist)
