Inbox Jukebox #067: FINNEAS, Marina City, Tiffany Young & Babyface + Half the Animal

…This is the Inbox Jukebox:

FINNEAS – “Claudia”

FINNEAS is about to pull you into a sensual tale of love-at-first-sight. If you’re not enticed by his new single “Claudia” your heart don’t beat loud enough. This soundscape is lush with liquid electro-beats and husky vocals—that are damn near a chant. It’s all so very irresistible. FINNEAS might be singing about being “in trouble” because he’s caught up by a pair of gorgeous eyes but we’re the ones who are hooked.

Marina City – “Addicted”

“Addicted” is so very slinky. It’s the sonic equivalent of an absolute snacc sliding into your DMs. Then it all goes wrong because it never gets any better than alright. But you can’t stop because good is good enough…right? Marina City goes in, lacing “Addicted” with seductive guitar licks and languorously drawn out lyrics that sound like a caress. This track might as well be the last kiss before you say goodbye…but the memories will go on and on, which means this won’t be the last time you get “Addicted”. Press play again…

Tiffany Young – “Runaway” (feat. Babyface)

Y’all ain’t ready. Tiffany Young just joined up with the legendary Babyface for a luscious duet that’s pure escapism. All we can say is…yes, girl. “Runaway” is a throwback to the late 90s and this ballad is infused with so much sass it’ll put more bounce in your sway. Tiffany’s lilting vocals dance in and out of Face’s buttery tenor and…did we mention…yes, gurl. Our bags are packed and at the door because “Runaway” might as well be airfare—it’ll get you lifted.
