2025 has turned out to be a historic year for the emo faithful. Everyone…stay calm! My Chemical Romance vocalist Gerard Way seems to be gearing up to release a new music project: The Mock-Ups. On September 12, Instagram account @gauzyrecords, a boutique record label in Los Angeles and Arizona, revealed Way as the vocalist and bassist for the forthcoming project in a caption. And that’s not all…The Mock-Ups also feature The Interrupters‘ Aimee Allen on backing vocals and Jesse Bivona on drums.
