About Basement
Hailing from the UK, Basement put a modern twist on the grunge and emo movements of the 90′s. Formed in Ipswich, England in 2010, the band quickly went from a hobby to a full-time gig, signing to stateside label Run For Cover Records within a year. This led the band on an unprecedented journey, releasing their first full-length I Wish I Could Stay Here and touring around the world. They followed the album up with 2011′s Songs About The Weather EP. In July 2012, the band announced they would be going on an indefinite hiatus and that their upcoming full-length Colourmeinkindness would be their swan song. The album is due out October 23rd and is full of dynamic songs with haunting vocals and urgent guitars sure to make the band truly missed by fans.
