Bayside celebrated their 15th Birthday Tour in their hometown of New York City last week. To help them celebrate the occasion Seaway, Man Overboard, and Senses Fail joined them on stage. The dynamic of the show as a whole juxtaposed the old with the new, and it brought together fans of punk rock as well as pop punk. In addition to that, it was awesome to see newer bands playing alongside seasoned ones. It would be easy to say that each of these aspects contributed to a great show, but that truly wouldn’t encompass the incredible performances all of the bands put on.
As the New York City natives, it was expected that fans would go crazy for Bayside. The crowd went absolutely nuts with each song that the band played. Their set incorporated songs from their entire discography from “Masterpiece,” to “Duality,” as well as songs from their latest album, Cult. Not only were fans treated to an evening of various Bayside songs but they also got to experience an intimate performance of “Don’t Call Me Peanut” from Anthony Raneri.
Cheers to 15 years of Bayside and here’s to many more!
