So what do you think of when you think of the biggest musical moments on TV?
The people at TV Guide have come out with a list – and it lists as number one then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton’s sax-blowing appearance on the “Arsenio Hall Show” in June, 1992. The magazine notes that Clinton’s blowing a few bars of “Heartbreak Hotel” on the sax ended up changing the course of American politics.
Number two on the list is Michael Jackson’s moonwalk on the Motown 25 special back in the 1980s. Jackson made the list a second time for the debut of his “Thriller” video.
Other events making the list are the launch of MTV, the Beatles appearance on the “Ed Sullivan Show,” and the duet between Eminem and Elton John.
