Timberlake, Aguilera Tour Rebuilt and Rescheduled

Although derailed last weekend by a rigging accident, the remainder of the Justified & Stripped tour featuring co-headliners Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera has been rescheduled.

The tour will pick up again Aug. 18-19 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., and play eight shows before closing Sept. 2 in St. Paul, Minn.

A statement from Nassau Coliseum explains, “The delays were necessary to restore the show’s extensive production to its original magnitude.”

Tickets for the original shows at each venue will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Fans who cannot make the rescheduled concerts can receive refunds at the point-of-purchase.

The only stop not on the new Timberlake/Aguilera itinerary is Atlantic City, N.J., where the tour came grinding to a halt on Saturday when a ceiling grid at Boardwalk Hall came crashing down. More than $1 million in damage was caused to the tour’s stage and lighting and video equipment.

An investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the incident at the historic venue. Authorities have moved several scheduled events to other locations in Atlantic City, but expect the mid-September Miss America Pageant festivities to go on at the venue as planned.

Here Are The Rescheduled Justified & Stripped Tour Dates:

  • Aug. 18-19 – Uniondale, N.Y. – Nassau Coliseum
  • Aug. 20 – East Rutherford, N.J. – Continental Airlines Arena
  • Aug. 22 – Hartford, Conn. – Hartford Civic Center
  • Aug. 25 – Washington, D.C. – MCI Center
  • Aug. 31 – Indianapolis, Ind. – Conseco Fieldhouse
  • Sept. 1 – Milwaukee – Bradley Center
