Simple Plan To Complain About Not Getting Any On Live TV

It looks like pop-punk is getting some love over at MuchMusic. A couple of months after Good Charlotte hit the Chum City Building and a few weeks after Sum 41 make their appearance in downtown Toronto (catch that one on Much this Thursday), everyone’s favourite French-Canadian power-pop quintet Simple Plan are going to be inside the Much environment doing a show of their own, much to the delight of pre-teen punks across the nation.

Pierre, Chuck, Dave, Jeff and Sebastien will perform songs from their latest album, Still Not Getting Any…, and will also chat with Much VJ Matte Babel about their new album and how it must feel to be multi-platinum pop-punkers. Viewers can participate in the event by sending in questions via telephone, email or Speaker’s Corner.

If you’re one of those people who’d do anything to spend a night with Simple Plan, tune into MuchOnDemand on December 16 at 5 p.m. for your chance to call in and win a pair of wristbands to be in the audience during their performance.

The Montrealers aren’t strangers to the Much environment. The band performed live on MuchOnDemand just last month and they’ve got a two-year winning streak at the MMVAs. If you simply can’t wait for the special to air, Much has a Simple Plan Egos & Icons special that shows various interviews and sound clips that are sure to whet your appetite for the live performance. The special will be aired this Saturday (December 11) at 4 p.m.

Simple Plan’s Live@Much performance will be broadcast on Tuesday, December 21 at 7 p.m. EST on MuchMusic.
