Psychedelic Furs And Echo & The Bunnymen Map Out Tour

Two ’80s alternative legends, the Psychedelic Furs and Echo & the Bunnymen, will tour together this fall. The Furs will be supporting of their live album, Beautiful Chaos (Greatest Hits Live), due out November 20. The album also features a new studio track, “Alive.” Echo & the Bunnymen also have a recent release, Flowers. In addition, Rhino Records recently released an Echo & the Bunnymen boxed set, Crystal Days 1979-1999, which includes rarities, singles, and live tracks.

Furs’ bass player Tim Butler told LAUNCH how the band chooses its setlist. “We play what we know is going to be demanded, certain songs. And then the rest of it, we sort of play ’em in rehearsal and if we’re into playing that song, we’ll say, ‘Hey, yeah. We’ll put that in the set.’ But if it’s not clicking and we’re like, ‘Not that one again,’ then we don’t.”
