*NSYNC Still Bobbling, Bringing Fun To Fans

*NSYNC fans can add Lance Bass to their Best Buy bobblehead-toy collection starting on Sunday (December 2). The Bass bobblehead figure is the second of five limited-edition *NSYNC collectibles available at Best Buy stores nationwide this holiday season. The Minneapolis-based consumer electronics retailer is donating $1 million of the proceeds from the sale of the bobbleheads to New York City relief efforts.

All donations will be administered by the Best Buy Children’s Foundation, an organization that awards grants to nonprofit programs that develop life skills in young people.

The release of the Bass bobblehead follows last week’s release of the J.C. Chasez bobblehead. Earlier this month at a Miami press conference Chasez said that the members of *NSYNC are glad that their music brings joy to people during these troubling times. “The best part about doing the music that we do at this time is we’re not a constant reminder of what’s happened,” he said. “We’re not all serious and everything like that. I mean, we sing serious music when the time is appropriate. Our whole job, and our whole purpose from the beginning when we did music, was to bring people a good time, and I think it’s a great way for people to take a load off of their shoulders.”

The remaining *NSYNC collectibles will be released, one per week, in the following order: Joey Fatone (December 9); Justin Timberlake (December 16); and Chris Kirkpatrick (December 23). The collectibles retail for $9.99, and they come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
