Nickelback Announces Tour, Continues Chart Success

Nickelback has booked a headlining tour, which will start in Seattle on October 30 and wind down on December 11. The band’s platinum-certified sophomore album Silver Side Up is holding steady at Number Five on the Billboard 200 album chart, and the single “How You Remind Me” is holding on to Number One on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart.

In light of these achievements, LAUNCH asked singer/songwriter Chad Kroeger if he thinks Nickelback is successful. “I’d say we’re definitely on the right track to getting there,” he said. “As far as all of my expectations, they’ve been exceeded. They really have, so I don’t know what else we really have to do before I can just… You know what? I would say, for sure, I think we’ve accomplished everything we wanted to and then some. So, it’s all good.”

Nickelback has a few shows left on its current tour with Saliva and Default, which ends at the Key Club in West Hollywood, California on October 11, three weeks before the band’s headlining tour begins.
