Nelly Furtado will try to extend the enormous success of her debut release, Whoa, Nelly!, next year with her Burn in the Spotlight Tour.
Furtado will launch the tour in Victoria, British Columbia, on January 28th and play the West coast for the first leg. The tour will run into April, with label mates Citzen Cope, whose debut is due January 29th, opening.
Meanwhile, the praise for Furtado keeps coming. She is nominated for an American Music Award (the show takes place January 9th) and an NAACP Image Award, which will be handed out March 1st.
