'Unwrapped' to Debut Forthcoming Britney Spears Album, 'Britney'

Britney Spears’ fans wait no longer!’s new advanced CD sales program “Unwrapped” will give online fans the chance to pre-order and experience Britney Spears’ new album “Britney” before it is available in stores on November 6th. Beginning today, fans can log on to to pre-order Britney’s new CD and listen to the album in its entirety – two weeks before it’s available in stores. Britney fans who pre-order the album through’s “Unwrapped” program will have access to all of the album’s artwork, liner notes and exclusive interviews plus free shipping. A physical copy of the “Britney” CD will be sent to their mailboxes on November 6th, the day of the album’s official release.

In addition, MTV will present a live, two-hour Britney Spears special entitled “Total Britney Live” premiering November 3rd at 1pm(ET)/ 10am(PT). The special will take an in-depth look at Britney the performer, friend, trendsetter, daughter, sister, idol and actor. “Total Britney Live” will include appearances from many of Britney’s closest family and friends and surprise special guests.

Britney Spears has sold tens of millions of albums, hundreds of thousands of videos and DVDs and millions of singles in her relatively short career and her latest album is set to follow that pattern.
