Mick Jagger To Join Bart & Company On 'The Simpsons'

Add Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger to the list of rock stars who have been Simpsons-ized. As part of the campaign to promote his latest solo album, Goddess In The Doorway, Jagger has provided his voice for a future episode of the popular animated Fox television show The Simpsons. Jagger reportedly recorded his parts last week, but the show’s producers are keeping details of his involvement under wraps for the time being. The episode is expected to air during the February or May sweeps periods.

Jagger is just the latest in a long list of rockers to do their bit on The Simpsons. Among the others who have been on the show are ex-Beatles Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the late George Harrison, as well as U2, the Who, Sting, Elton John, Peter Frampton, Aerosmith, David Crosby, the Moody Blues, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, R.E.M., the Ramones, and James Taylor, among others.
