Made Clothing Partners With Nike

Made Clothing have announced a partnership with Nike to manufacture a limited edition run of Nike Dunk shoes.

The clothing company, started by Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, will produced 100-300 pairs of Made branded sneakers. While some will be made available to the public, most will be provided to bands that the company sponsors.

Made Clothing will also set aside some sneakers for donation to charities such as Amnesty International. An autographed skateboard deck signed by Good Charlotte singer, Joel Madden, is currently being auction on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3357581193) for Amensty International’s Music for Human Rights Campaign.

Good Charlotte have a long history of endorsing charitable causes – including benefits for the poor and elderly, the homeless, human rights causes, and suicide prevention. For their video for the single, Hold On, the band enlisted the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and producer Sam Bayer to help create a powerful, performance-driven clip with messages from real people that have lost family and loved ones to suicide.

Benji Madden said he “hopes that maybe one kid will see this video or hear this song and say, ‘OK, I’m gonna hold on.'”

The video will premier on MTV November 12.
