Lace your boots up tight, ’cause LIGHTS has put out a song to get you striding the streets like you own ’em. Her new single “Giants” will have you feeling like one just by how powerful the chorus is when it explodes out of the speakers and right into your heart. And she’s paired this powerhouse song with its own epic video, that turns her upcoming comic Skin&Earth to life. In it we see LIGHTS as character En, walking through the Red Zone of Madison Oasis, before meeting a mysterious spirit who takes her far away from her dystopian world, to a place where she can really dream.
You can pick up “Giants” now, and dive into the upcoming comic’s world through the video below while you count down the days ’til the first print issue of the monthly series arrives. Issue #1 of Skin&Earth comes out on July 12 via Dynamite Entertainment, and LIGHTS’ new album of the same name is slated for release this fall. You’ll be able to catch her on tour supporting PVRIS from September too! LIGHTS has been dropping plenty of details about Madison Oasis and her new music over on Instagram (she even hinted at some Easter eggs when she sat down with Geek Girl Riot recently!), so go marching down the street to your local comic book store to pre-order your issue, all the while singing “if we could be, we could be giants…”
