Incubus' 'Morning View' Available For Online Preview Exclusively Through BestBuy.com

Bestbuy.com has chosen Epic/Immortal Recording artist Incubus and their anxiously awaited release “Morning View” for their premiere foray into advance album previewing with online pre-order. Available now exclusively through Bestbuy.com, fans who purchase “Morning View” are sent an e-mail with an account number which lets them immediately access the album online, on demand and in its entirety, prior to the album’s arrival in stores on October 23. The album will be streamed in the Windows Media format.

“Bestbuy.com is extremely excited about this first-ever online presale offer with Incubus’ ‘Morning View,”‘ said Scott Young, head of Bestbuy.com. “The band has made a superb album that is in great demand by their fans across the country, and we’re not only anticipating great success for this offer, but delighted to be contributing to what is sure to be the great success of ‘Morning View.”‘

“From day one Incubus has been among the best at using the Internet to build relationships with their fans,” said Mike Tierney, Sr. Vice President of Epic Records. “We are very pleased to be working with BestBuy.com on this premiere online retail event. This campaign will feed old fans’ appetites for the new record, and show new fans what Incubus is all about.”

“Morning View” is the much-anticipated follow-up to Incubus’ double-platinum Make Yourself. It is the band’s third full-length release on Epic/Immortal, and was aptly named for the Malibu house where for six months, the five band-mates became roommates to write and record this new album. The band enlisted the production skills of Scott Litt to polish the effort, who had also worked with the band on Make Yourself. Incubus is on tour now through December in support of their forthcoming release.
