A message on whfs.com annouced the cancellation of The Fall Edition of HFStival, which was to take place October 4. The message reads:
“Due to scheduling conflict HFStival – The Fall Edition has been cacelled. Tickets can be refunded at place of purchase – or just hold on to ’em and we’ll see you next spring.”
Sources indicate that Infinity Radio, corporate owners of WHFS, were unhappy with ticket sales for the event. Concerts in general have seen lower ticket sales this year. The annual HFStival was a two-day event, but was scaled back this year to only one day.
