Eminem’s mom says she fears for his life. In an interview with the television show “Celebrity Justice,” Debbie Nelson says the music industry is “scary” and “violent” and she’s frightened because a lot of people take her son seriously.
She’s worried about getting a call that someone has taken the controversial rap star out. When asked if she thinks she’ll get that call she says “I hate to say it, but yes.”
As for Eminem’s hate-filled songs about her, including “Cleaning Out My Closet,” she says “as a mom it bothers you a little bit,” but she looks at it as artistic expression. Nelson says she doesn’t really have a relationship with Eminem, but says she’s not giving up.
