Creed Reschedule Tour Date Following Family Emergency

Creed have been forced to postpone Friday night’s tour stop at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, due to the passing of guitarist Mark Tremonti’s mother. The chart-topping rockers announced the move late Thursday (January 31), noting that the show has been pushed to February 23. All tickets for Friday night’s show will be honored on the new date. The band’s trek is expected to resume on Monday in Toronto.

The group is asking that in lieu of flowers, fans send contributions to the With Arms Wide Open Foundation, 525 East College Ave., Tallahassee, FL 32301.

The loss comes just two weeks after the band kicked off its U.S. tour with a sold-out show in Atlanta.
