CaroleKing.Com Launched September 25

In conjunction with the release of Carole King’s 24th album, Love Makes The World on her own label, Rockingale Records, King has launched the official Carole King website, CaroleKing.com. For a limited time, King is making available on the site a free download of “Love Makes The World,” the title track from her current CD.

Also available is an e-mailable streaming VLP of the entire album, which features guest appearances by artists such as Céline Dion, Wynton Marsalis, k.d. Lang and Babyface.

CaroleKing.com will provide the artist’s fans and music aficionados everywhere a look into forty years of popular music history as lived by one of America’s premiere singer/songwriters. More than a typical artist page, CaroleKing.com provides a window to other aspects of King’s life, including family members as well as her work to protect the environment. The site will allow King to speak directly to the millions who have cherished her not only for her music, but for her ideals.

Unique to the site is King’s “Ideas” section, with pages dedicated to Love, Family, Heroes, Humanity and the Environment, which will link the public to important information that also defines King’s work. “The Internet is a powerful tool when you consider its ability to foster the exchange of ideas,” explained King. “I want CaroleKing.com to be a forum that will encourage people to seek out the best in themselves and others.”

From time to time, CaroleKing.com will offer additional downloads. An audio Christmas card is planned, as well as previously unreleased tracks and demos. Upcoming features include a comprehensive timeline and discography of the artist’s multi-faceted career. These features will allow browsers access to thousands of files of commentary, photos, videos, news clips and interviews, as well as links to King’s collaborators and artists who have covered her songs.
