Boca Raton bans Fall Out Boy

The April 21st Fall Out Boy concert at Mizner Amphitheater has been relocated due to the city of Boca Raton, Fla. citing security issues.

“There have been known disturbances associated with one of the bands, Fall Out Boy. We anticipate that the concert will generate security challenges,” the city said in a statement.

The band’s manager said he didn’t know what the city was talking about.

“I’m not sure what these ‘challenges’ are that they are speaking of,” Fall Out Boy manager Bob McLynn said. “The town said that if we tried to keep the show on we would have to pay an extraordinary amount of money in extra costs”.

The show will be relocated to Pompano Beach Amphitheatre the same date, and all tickets to the original Mizner show will be honored.
