Backstreet Boys To Visit CBS

The Backstreet Boys are coming to the small screen in their first ever television special, The Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life, to air May 30th on CBS.

The hour-long program gives BSB fans a look at the hectic year that began with the group’s Around the World in 100 Hours tour in support of their latest album, Black and Blue. Clips from the band’s journey through seven cities – Stockholm, Tokyo, Sydney, Capetown, Rio de Janeiro and New York – in six continents will be featured in the special as well as the band’s performance from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Interviews with the five BSBs, behind-the-scenes footage and never before seen clips from the group’s pre-mega-stardom days will also be included in the special.

Expect the Boys to sing some of their biggest hits, including “Larger Than Life,” “Show Me the Feeling of Being Lonely,” “I Want It That Way,” “Shape of My Heart,” “I’ll Never Break Your Heart” and “Everybody.”

Meanwhile, the Boys have signed on to play Los Angeles radio station KISS-FM’s annual Wango Tango concert on June 16th and 17th along with Ricky Martin, Aerosmith, Nelly Furtado, Vertical Horizon and others. The BSB’s U.S. tour kicks off on June 8th in Orlando with Krystal opening most of the dates.
