Are No Doubt the Nicest Band on the Planet?

Every picture tells a story so check out these amazing shots of No Doubt’s energetic live performance at the Times Square Megastore this last week (12/11). The popular SoCal punk-ska-rock act played a full 40-minute eight-song set for fans at Virgin during the exclusive performance. Sources say “The band gave it the energy of a Madison Square Garden performance mixing old and new songs alike. It was incredible.”

MTV’s Total Request Live stopped by to shoot their closing segment from the store with special guest and MC, Russell Crowe, while the band played on and the crowd went completely insane. The charismatic actor even introduced No Doubt’s hit single “Hey Baby,” from their latest release, Rock Steady (Interscope).

At one point Gwen grabbed the cell phone of a fan who was apparently trying to let a friend hear and proceeded to sing the band’s biggest hit, “I’m Just a Girl,” into the mouthpiece as the crowd went wild. “This was truly one of the best live performances that we’ve had in Times Square with one of the nicest bands and management that we’ve ever dealt with,” said Virgin Megastore’s Senior Marketing Manager Andy Moreno. The band stuck around afterwards to greet each of the lucky 350 lucky pass holders and to sign copies of Rock Steady.
