to Host Madonna Remix Contest

Sonic Foundry (R), Inc., (NASDAQ: SOFO – news), a leading provider of rich media software, systems and services, today announced its partnership with Warner Bros. Records to create and host a Madonna Remix contest at Sonic Foundry’s website.

Three tracks from Madonna’s “Greatest Hits Volume 2” are now available online for remixing at ( Vocal tracks and select instrumentals from “Ray of Light,” “Deeper and Deeper,” and “Music” will be distributed along with a Madonna-customized version of ACID(TM) XPress, the free ten-track version of Sonic Foundry’s award-winning loop-based music creation tool ACID(TM). Samples from Sonic Foundry’s expansive loop library collection, including the new Bill Laswell Collection, will also be distributed to help entrants create custom mixes of Madonna’s music.

Three winners will be selected, one for each song. Winners will receive an extensive collection of Madonna vinyl releases and merchandise, as well as a copy of ACID PRO 3.0 and enrollment in the Sonic Foundry Loop Subscription Series.
