It may only be July but Destiny’s Child are already preparing to spread their own brand of Bootylicious holiday cheer this Christmas season.
The trio has a series of projects in the works for the season including a holiday album and a line of Destiny’s Child dolls, to be manufactured by Hasbro. The pint-size versions of Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle will stand eleven and a half inches tall. Each doll will wear an exact replica of the outfits worn by the girls on this year’s Grammy Awards. Little Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle will go for a reasonable $12.99 a pop and hit stores in September.
Meanwhile, details on the forthcoming Christmas album are slim but will undoubtedly contain a few holiday standards. The girls are also in the midst of negotiating a Christmas special with NBC.
