The Movielife announce reunion

themovielifeIf you consider yourself a fan of the legendary The Movielife, you might want to sit down —the band is making their return! After leaving the stage in 2003 they’ve been almost silent, until the recent announcement of their first show  since 2011. The long awaited concert will take place at Irving Plaza on February 7th. Tickets will be available at 12PM on December 19th.

The late 90s/early 2000s music scene wouldn’t have been the same without Long Island natives The Movielife. Their six year career was nothing short of storied, giving inspiration to young musicians across the industry, and depression to those of us missing their signature sound—making the news of their reunion that much sweeter. Check out a quote from vocalist Vinnie Caruana below.

“We, as friends and lovers of music, have found that we would all like to play shows together again as The Movielife. We bear no news of a new record nor are we planning a six-month world tour. But I’ll tell you one thing: The Movielife is alive.”
