3Gs And Lil J Join The Levi's 1st Stage On The MTV TRL Tour

Hollywood recording artists 3Gs and Lil J have been added to the Levi’s 1st Stage of the MTV TRL tour, a blockbuster package featuring Destiny’s Child, Nelly, Eve, Dream and 3LW.

Both 3Gs and Lil J will appear on the Levi’s 1st Stage when the tour began on July 19 at the Meadows Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

Kristi, Anapau and Amy – better known as 3Gs – will be giving audiences a preview of their highly anticipated Hollywood Records debut, due for release in early 2002. The trio’s first single, “One More Second Chance,” is going to radio at the end of September. 3Gs have also contributed a track, “Crush,” to the upcoming “Princess Diaries” soundtrack.

Lil J will be touring in support of his Hollywood Records debut, “All About J” and lead single “It’s the Weekend.” Due for release at the end of this year, the album showcases a young MC whose on-point flow commands instant attention. Produced by top-notch urban hit-makers like Jermaine Dupri, Clark Kent, L.E.S. Dakar (from the Trans-Continental camp), L.T. Hutton, Beau Dozier and Jelly Roll, “All About J” comes with a mainstream friendly radio-ready sound that runs the gamut from bounce-riddled head-nodders and kicked-back Cali jams, to club shakers and rock-spiced numbers.

“The album is just me and the things that I do,” said Lil J. “The majority of the album gets you pumped up because a lot of the songs are fast. Everybody loves those party tunes you can bump in your car during the summertime.”

Don’t miss your chance to do some bumpin’ when Lil J and the 3Gs hit your town.
