We’re not trying to rush summer away, we’re just saying September could stand to get here a little sooner. Why? We can’t wait to hear the new EP from RebuilderSounds From The Massachusetts Turnpike.

Though the collection won’t drop until September 1st, we’re making the wait a little easier with an exclusive stream of the band’s latest song, “Get Up”. To accompany the premiere, frontman Sal Madrano sat down to tell us a little about his hometown. Check out the guest post + track below!

“I love being from Boston. I’ve seen a lot of places around the US and it’s still my favorite place to come home to. Bands from here have a special connection with their audience. The venues, the flyers, and friends are strong influences on our music. Bands like Choke Up, Save End, Warning Shots, Dan Webb and The Spiders, Hospital Beds, Laughing Stock, Tied To A Bear, and anything Ryan Agate is a part of, is the soundtrack to our lives. Rebuilder’s contribution is ‘Sounds From The Massachusetts Turnpike’. Hopefully it can give a glimpse into our great city.” – Sal Madrano
