Premiere: The Directive – Little League

If you’re an idobi listener, you probably love infectious pop punk songs about being young and staying up all night as much as we do. Cue The Directive. The Michigan five-piece have already put out a new EP this year (March’s I Hope This Helps), but they’re not stopping there; their upcoming split with A Place In Time comes out November 5th. We’re stoked to be bringing you the premiere of the EP’s opening track “Little League,” an irresistible jam you can expect to be hearing all over our airwaves. The band had this to say about the song:

“Little League is about not taking our young and carefree lives for granted. The chorus says ‘…back to the basics and the base paths could never keep me in line,” which really is about being young and reckless and not giving a shit about rules.”

If you’re young and reckless too (and you probably are), you’ll definitely want to give the song a listen and pre-order the EP here. The band will also be on The Gunz Show next Wednesday, and you can keep up with them on Facebook and Twitter.
