Lucifer

“Vegas With Some Radish– Season 3, Episode 6
Mon Nov 6 –
8PM
On FOX

FOX

There’s no lack of will they/won’t they when it comes to love for Lucifer, and the latest episode of the show is looking like they won’t, again. By jetting off to Vegas to save a fake love, Lucy abandons his actual OTP, Chloe, on her birthday because, sighs, these two can never just work it out.

Of course, Lucifer Morningstar is no romantic, so there will also be secrets revealed that probably should have decayed with Amenadiel’s wings. The decadence, threats of things going terribly wrong, and the promise of both heaven and hell, keeps us coming back for more.

From TV Guide:
When Lucifer discovers his ex-fake-wife, Candy, has gone missing, he hightails it to Las Vegas with Ella in tow. Together, the two of them work to find her, but interesting secrets are revealed along the way that could compromise the investigation. Meanwhile, Chloe is upset that Lucifer left on her birthday, so Linda tries to lift her spirits.

Supergirl

“Damage” – Season 3, Episode 5
Mon Nov 6 –
8PM
On The CW

This week’s episode of Supergirl might hit a little close to home for some. There’s trouble with lead poisoning, and all signs point to Lena and the lead bomb she made to save the city from the Daxamites. Fortunately in Supergirl’s world, this is a problem they can—and are willing to—fix, but it looks like there are tough times ahead before they can clear Lena’s name. The drama in this world might be fictional, but the emotions are all too real, and will make for one draining but ultimately fulfilling episode.

From The CW:
MORGAN EDGE SETS HIS SIGHTS ON LENA — When multiple children get sick from lead poisoning, Morgan Edge (guest star Adrian Pasdar) points the finger at Lena (Katie McGrath) and blames her creation of the lead bomb she made to save National City from the Daxamites. While Lena knows she never intended any harm, she fears there may have been a flaw in her design, leaving her responsible. Kara (Melissa Benoist) teams up with Samantha (Odette Annable) to clear Lena’s name, but it turns out to be harder than they thought. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) make a crucial decision about the future of their relationship.

This Is Us

“The Most Disappointed Man” – Season 2, Episode 7
Tues Nov 7 – 9PM
On NBC

Pictured: (l-r) Mandy Moore as Rebecca, Milo Ventimiglia as Jack — (Photo by: Ron Batzdorff/NBC)

Love them or hate them, Kate and Toby are getting serious and wedding bells might just be in the future. This isn’t the biggest moment in this week’s This Is Us, though. We also travel back in time for an adoption battle that leaves Randall’s fate in the balance. It all comes down to a pivotal moment for the Pearson’s, one that could have altered the fate of the entire family.

Back to the future, we see Kevin making moves in his relationship as well. Because this is This Is Us, we’re not sure which of these moments will have us reaching for the tissues—but we’re absolutely positive at least one of them will.

From NBC:
Randall adjusts to the foster system. Kate and Toby take the next step in their relationship. Kevin visits Sophie in New York. Jack and Rebecca finalize Randall’s adoption.

Damnation

“Sam Riley’s Body” – Series premiere
Tues Nov 7 – 10PM
On USA

DAMNATION — “Sam Riley’s Body” Episode 101 — Pictured: Logan Marshall-Green as Creeley Turner — (Photo by: Chris Large/USA Network)

Remember the Westerns your grandpa used to watch? Yeah, this is nothing like those. In a battle between the rich and poor, drawing parallels to a lot of the issues we see in the world today, Damnation gives us a take on the people, and the people who try to control them.

The biggest difference between Damnation and the westerns of days gone by? Women are in the revolution now. This is a big fight and the girls of the heartland aren’t standing idly by, waiting for their turn to be damsel in distress, they’re riding off on motorcycles and fighting their own battles. The classic good vs bad plotline has us interested, while the feminist message has us like “Yaaaaaas”.

From USA:
An epic saga about the secret history of the 1930’s American heartland, Damnation centers on the mythic conflict and bloody struggle between big money and the downtrodden, God and greed, charlatans, and prophets. The pilot introduces Seth Davenport (Killian Scott), a man masquerading as a small town Iowa preacher in the hopes of starting a full-blown insurrection against the status quo. Focused on his mission, he is unaware that an industrialist tycoon has hired a professional strikebreaker named Creeley Turner (Logan Marshall-Green, Quarry) to stop the uprising by any means necessary.  But unbeknownst to those around them, these two men already share a secret bloody past.

Riverdale

“Chapter Eighteen: When a Stranger Calls” – Season 2, Episode 5
Wed Nov 8 – 8PM
On The CW

Beware the repercussions of the publishing world. Putting something out there for everyone to read is not for the faint-hearted—this week on Riverdale might have you thinking twice before you post that next shade-tweet. When Alice blasts the Southside in the Riverdale Register, it gets those teen hearts beating faster, faster. Turns out the Serpents aren’t the only snakes in town and it’s up to Jughead to try to keep the peace, which means we’re making the popcorn already in preparation for this drahhhh-ma. Things are about to get messy in Riverdale, y’all—ultimatums and face-offs abound and we’re dying to know who is the face under the hood…

From The CW:

When Alice (Madchen Amick) publishes a fiery piece in the Riverdale Register blasting the Southside, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is forced to take matters into his own hands to try and keep the peace. Betty (Lili Reinhart) turns to Archie (KJ Apa) for help after receiving an ultimatum that could potentially destroy some of her closest relationships. With their SoDale open house fast approaching, Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and Hermoine (Marisol Nichols) enlist the help of an unlikely ally to get some potential investors on board. Finally, Veronica (Camila Mendes) welcomes her old friend Nick St. Clair (guest star Graham Phillips) to Riverdale, but his plans for a wild night with the gang quickly takes an unexpected turn.

Gotham

“A Dark Knight: Stop Hitting Yourself” – Season 4, Episode 8
Thurs Nov 9 – 8PM
On FOX

FOX

“Revenge is never as simple as a mere tit for a tat”

Ooh, we love a good revenge storyline. Especially when it combines the ultimate betrayal from a friend. Y’know what they say: Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. We’re about to see what happens when you’re both. When the Penguin teams up with the Sirens, you know s#!t’s about to get real. And something tells us Professor Pyg is only getting started…things are looking darker than ever in Gotham and we’ve never been so ready for it.

From TV Guide:
Grundy and Nygma become main attractions at Cherry’s Place in the Narrows; Penguin wants revenge when he hears Nygma is mocking him on stage and enlists the Sirens for help; and Gordon is offered the position of GCPD captain, putting him at odds with Bullock.

How to Get Away With Murder

“Nobody Roots for Goliath” – Season 4, Episode 7
Thurs Nov 9 – 10PM
On ABC

(ABC/Kelsey McNeal)

With only one episode left until the winter finale, you know HTGAWM’s plotline is thickening. Annalise is back on trial and the games are just beginning—of course, the games are what we’re here for. Will our favorite, and possibly the most corrupt, lawyer escape the system that’s made her what she is (again)?

Meanwhile, Laurel is steadfast on taking down her own father for the crimes he’s committed, but nothing goes smoothly for the Keating 5 (now 4). A fact they should have come to terms with before someone found out their plans. Get the edge of your seat, and your heart rate, ready. This is a Shondaland drama and things are bound to get messy.

From ABC:
When Annalise’s resolve to certify her class action lawsuit is tested, a surprising ally comes to her aid. Meanwhile, Laurel and Michaela hit a roadblock after someone discovers their plans to take down Laurel’s father.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

“I Never Want to See Josh Again” – Season 3, Episode 5
Fri Nov 10 – 8PM
On The CW

Pictured (L-R): Rachel Bloom as Rebecca and Tovah Feldshuh as Naomi — Photo: Robert Voets/The CW — © 2017 The CW Network, LLC. All Rights Reserved.

After Rebecca spirals even more out of control (even for Rebecca), Paula does the unthinkable (even for Paula): She calls Rebecca’s mom. Yup. That’s grounds for friend-divorce right there. For us, however, it’s grounds for some damn good entertainment, ’cause Momma Bunch is always a delight and we can’t wait to hear all the fresh insults she’s about to throw like a martini on a soap opera set. Cheers!

From The CW:
MOTHER KNOWS BEST – Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) goes home to Westchester where she draws closer to her mother (Tovah Feldshuh) and tries to find a way forward. The friends and co-workers she left behind, including Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin) and Nathaniel (Scott Michael Foster), struggle with their emotions regarding her departure.

Marvel’s Inhumans

“… And Finally: Black Bolt” – Season 1, Episode 8
Fri Nov 10 – 9PM
On ABC

(ABC/Karen Neal)

This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Black Bolt vs. Maxinmus. We finally got a glimpse behind Maximus’ master plan last week and it ain’t all roses and murder. Will jealousy and that all-too-telling inferiority complex spell disaster? Will Black Bolt succeed at becoming the King the Inhumans deserve? Well, the dome around the Attilan has shattered and so have our predictions for how this season is going to wrap up.

From ABC:
It’s brother versus brother as the final showdown between Black Bolt and Maximus takes an unexpected turn – one with lasting consequences for all of Inhumanity.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency

“Shapes and Colors” – Season 2, Episode 5
Sat Nov 11 – 9PM
On BBC America

Todd Brotzman (Elijah Wood), Farah Black (Jade Eshete), Dirk Gently (Samuel Barnett)

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency turns into psychedelic fairytale this week! We learn more about Wendimoor, who created it, and what dangers await us. Amanda (and we’re guessing Todd too) finds out her genetic disability, Pararibulitis, might just be the family’s brand of magic—and Amanda’s powers are strong. Meanwhile back in our dimension, Todd and Farah have been keeping secrets from us (meet me behind the gym after school secrets). Dirk and Sheriff Sherlock continue to be disarmingly insecure. (What’s that about?) All of this while the Wicked Witch and Wizard of Wendimoor lay the groundwork to totally derail the investigation, get everybody high off shapes and colors, and ruin everybody else’s day with a whole lot of murder by wand. We’re not sure what’s going on but we know: It’s all connected (and we’re totally hooked).

From BBC America:
The case seems to take a major turn when Arnold, the adult son of the dead Cardenas couple, shows up. Meanwhile, Amanda is led to a mystical coven in the woods of Wendimoor led by the forest witch Wakti Wapnasi, where she begins to master the unique powers she first experienced in Bergsberg.
