First Listen: The Stoic Club’s New Track is a “Starling”

Taylor Phillips, Neriah Romero, and Will Way gave the Louisville, KY scene something to talk about when they formed The Stoic Club in 2015. Along with Tyler Hoagland and Chris Carswell, the band makes a post hardcore sound with intense emotion that forms a strong bond between song + listener, and they’ll be able to ride that skill all the way to the stars.

“’Starling’ was written to convey a sense of dedication for a life that didn’t have a drive. It points out faults and shortcomings while saying that no matter how bleak it might get, that there’s always a reason to keep at things that give you purpose.”

Today, we’re bringing you the latest track from the band. Titled “Starling”, the song is streaming below. Let us know what you think on Twitter, and watch out for TSC’s forthcoming EP, You Always Knew What To Say, this November.
